> And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

> I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity..
> We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.
> Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.
> The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort; God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy.
> We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness.
> No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.
> And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.
> You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems:
> If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.
> Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy.
> It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease.
> So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.
> First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit.. We made no major purchases.
> Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.
> Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
> Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.
> We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity?
> Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?
> When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do.
> That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.
> Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
> Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
> Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
> Painful moments, TRUST GOD.

Dr. S.I. McMillian wrote a book entitled,  None of These Diseases. I want you to hear what he said about bitterness. "The moment I start hating a man, I become his slave. I can't enjoy my work anymore because he even controls my thoughts." My resentments produce too many stress hormones in my body and I become fatigued after only a few hours of work.  

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever seen a happy bitter person? I have never met a happy bitter person. You know why? There aren't any. Bitter people aren't happy.  


Bitterness saturates the mind, saddens the spirit and number three it sickens the Body. God did not create your body to carry a grudge. In that same book Dr. McMillan wrote, "Diseases, physical diseases, ranging from ulcers to high blood pressure, can be caused by the single emotion of bitterness."

BEWARE OF HUMAN CHAMELEONS

TEXT: Corinthians 11:13-15

Introduction: We have many pictures that can be seen in the spiritual sense in the animal world.
They make good illustrations on right and wrong. Today we are going to look at chameleons and
some truths about them and then apply them with the Word of God.

THE DESCRIPTION OF CHAMELEONS

The Chameleon is a tree-dwelling lizard having the ability to change color and to move each eye independently. The color change is involuntary, contrary to common belief, and is brought about by light, temperature, and nervous stimulation such as anger or fear. It is not related to the color of the substance on which the chameleon happens to be.

Under ordinary conditions, the rough skin of the chameleon is a dull brownish-green. Under stresses of fear or anger, the color changes to a vivid green; it turns brown or yellowish-gray in response to hunger, low temperatures, and strong sunlight. The males of some species may display a brilliant red loose fold of skin under the throat during courtship or in combat.

What Color Is a Chameleon?

A chameleon is able to change its skin color quickly. This lizard may be green, yellow, or white one minute, and brown or black the next. Chameleons also may become spotted. Body chemicals control the chameleon’s color. Many people believe chameleons change color to blend with their surroundings in order to hide from predators. This, however, is not true. Chameleons actually change their color
depending on the air temperature or the amount of light, though most often the animal change color because of its mood.

The skin of a chameleon is see-through, or transparent. The chameleon has cells underneath this skin that contain pigment (a natural substance that controls the color of tissues in animals). By increasing the size of certain pigment cells and decreasing the size of other pigment cells, the chameleon changes color. For instance, if a chameleon decreases the size of its black-pigment cells and increases the size of its yellow, its skin changes from black to yellow.

There are about 90 species of chameleon known. They are native to Africa, Spain, Madagascar, India, and Sri Lanka. Unlike most lizards, the chameleon is not slender and swift. Including the tail the length of some pygmy chameleons is four inches. The largest species, found in East Africa, is almost two feet long. The head has a hood like rear projection. Its feet are adapted to grasping, each foot having five toes arranged in pincer-like groups of two and three. The tail can be wrapped around twigs. The large eyes can be rotated, either independently of each other or in unison. The eyelids form a circular fold with a small central opening. The sticky, blunt-tipped tongue of the chameleon is almost as long as its body. It darts rapidly from the mouth at insects, which make up the chameleon's diet.

THE DANGER OF CHAMELEONS IN THE BIBLE

The passage I read earlier shows what Satan’s ministers can turn themselves. They look like ministers. They talk like them. They act like them. Yet the whole time they are nothing more than Satan’s men.

One of the best examples of this is Judas Iscariot. He was with the Lord Jesus and the rest of the disciples. You would have never known that he was a minister of Satan up to the time he betrayed the Lord.

The Bible has some stern words for these types of ministers in Matthew 7:21-24

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Anything done by these people is nothing but sin. It may seem that they healed a few folks or built some orphanages or some other type of “Christian” ministry or work, but it is for nothing except to make their punishment more horrible in hell.

Beware of Human Chameleons

Now how do we relate this to us? There are some here who say the right words around us. They come regularly. They try to act like us but in reality they are nothing more than a chameleon. One day this will catch up with you.

Some think that they are fooling us but I am not a fool. I have seen much and hear much and not easily fooled as I was years ago. You know who is the biggest fool. You are!

Right now God is speaking to your heart and you know I have your number. But really the Holy Spirit is calling you come away from your lie and get right with God.

Finally, There is no shame in admitting you have sinned against God with your lie. In fact, there is forgiveness available for you.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the 
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive 
ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us 
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make 
him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1st John 1:7-10

You may have been raised in a Christian home but you are a chameleon. It is time to get right
with God today.

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him”-Mark 16: 6.

When Jesus was crucified, He was confined in a sepulcher which was covered with a great stone. When someone is buried in a grave, the person is expected to remain there forever; the idea is to confine the person permanently, with no option of rising again.

Notice that when the women in our Scripture Reading came to the sepulcher, Jesus was no longer there. In Mark 15 vs.47, they saw where He was laid in the grave, but they came back later to see that He had changed location. Those who covered the sepulcher with a great stone may have planned to keep Jesus there forever, but they couldn’t keep Him there.

Friend, God says, 

You are stepping out of every confinement in your destiny.

You are breaking out of every grave and every prison in your destiny.

Men will look for you where they kept you, but they won’t find you there. 

You shall step out of every sepulcher despite the stones used to cover it; those who knew your circumstances will no longer find you where you used to be.

Those who saw your tears in the past shall return to see that your tears have been exchanged for joy; those who saw you mourning will come back to see you celebrating; 

Those who saw you in lack will come back to see you in abundance; those who saw you barren will come back to see you with your own children; 

Every satanic confinement the enemy has laid on your destiny shall scatter by fire.

Cheer up, your story will not end in the sepulcher; God’s word concerning your destiny will break every chain and confinement of the enemy.

Pray With Me: Lord, break every satanic confinement in my destiny; I won’t remain in the grave, in Jesus’ name!

IDENTIFYING  THE STRONGMAN

AN  UNCLEAN SPIRIT  RETURNS

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I come. And when he comes he finds it empty, swept and in order.

Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”  MATTHEW 12:43-45

1. Demons walk - they can travel from one place to another, they are dis-bodied spirits, that they want to manifest in the flesh of the man, they seek to inhabit body.

2. Demons seek - they seek and search, they have personalities. The search for the people who are yielding to them through lifestyle.

3. Demons rest - they rest after they seek for the body, they feel tired.

4. Demons see - they can see through spiritual eyes.

5. Demons talk - they can speak and talk, they can communicate.

6. Demons have will - they can think and decide when return, they have imagination.

7. Demons have faith - they have believed that they will return to the house.

8. Demons have memory - they remember when they were before to come back.

9. Demons can examine - they can examine your room and find empty. Demons always come back and examine you. He remembers that he got you one time.

They are smart. He comes to his own house and he see its vacant.

10. Demons can plan - they plan to invite other seven spirits, even worst that they.

11. Demons have knowledge - they know how to call for help.

WE MUST DEAL ALWAYS WITH THE STRONGMAN - EVIL SPIRIT

“Or else how can one enter a strong man`s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.” MATTHEW 12:29

            There are twelve strong men in the Bible. To each is connection with demons.

Demons can be cast out, but when the strongman is inside, they will come back, and the condition of the man is worse than before. We must deal with the Strongman first.

First Strong man in the Bible is in NUMBERS 5: 11 – 

1. Spirit of Jealousy.

When there is a suspicion about anything there is the spirit of Jealousy.

PROVERBS 6: 34 - “For jealousy is the rage of the man.” Therefore he will nor spare anybody under suspicion. Revenge is demon, but Jealousy is Strongman.

Murder is demon, rage is demon, competition is demon but Jealousy is the Spirit.

2. Spirit of Lying - II CHRONICLES 18: 22, JEREMIAH 23: 14

“They commit adultery and walk in lies.” Adultery is a demon from Spirit of Lying.

“They all of them like Sodom.” It is Spirit of homosexuality. Sodomy is connected.

Spirit of Lies is the Strongman. There is the curse upon the lies. Profanity is bound by Lying Spirit. Vanity is connected to the Spirit of Lies. Hypocrisy is also from this.

If you want to be really free - you should deal with the Lying Spirit. The same Lying Spirit is in  church as a Spirit of Religion. Continually condemning others, standing higher than others, isolate themselves, only his group is right, continually accuse you,

They jump from church to church. Everybody is wrong; you can never win with them. Everytime you talk, they always talk back with lies and untruth. Just avoid them.

3. Familiar Spirit - I Samuel 28:7

Word Familiar means Friendly, and Familiar Spirit will manifest in Astrology. People who follow the stars, they are bound by the Familiar Spirit. It is demonic. Horoscopes, reading horoscopes. The Spirit bound  lives. All forms of the occult and witchcraft.

4. Spirit of Perversion - ISAIAH 19: 14. Perversion is also  PROVERBS 13: 2

To prevent means to twist the truth, to corrupt, to turn the truth around. It does apply to all sexual perversions as homosexuality and bestiality. Lust after women is also with Spirit of Perversion, and uncontrolled leads to oppression, which needs deliverance.

5. Spirit of Heaviness - ISAIAH 61:6.

Devil of grief, of self pity, of rejection, loneliness, gluttony. People are bound with rejection and self pity.

6. Spirit of Harlotry - HOSEA 4:12; There are six strongman by name:

Idolatries, Love of world, love of money, love of self, fornication, prostitution. The people in harlot and prostitution are associated with devil and his kingdom.

Nobody is satisfied with prostitute. It is no satisfaction in sex with a harlot.

7. Spirit of Infirmity -  LUKE 13:11

All sicknesses, every disease known to human, behind is the Spirit of Infirmity.

8. Deaf and Dumb Spirit. - MARK 9: 17

Dumb and deaf Spirit tormented young boy, giving him suicidal thoughts, Spirit tormented him. It is demon of suicide in the dumb and deaf spirit. Jesus set him free. We must deal with the Spirit of Infirmity first as Strongman.

9. Spirit of Fear - II TIMOTHY 1:7

Spirit of Fear first torment inside the body. Fear has tormentor, so those who are tormented, they are afraid and have sense of danger. You say to your children: Do not Fear. Just trust the LORD at all times and everything will be OK. Our God said:

Fear not, I am with You. It is sign of unbelief, when you start to fear. Fear is: torment, terror, nightmares, worry and all come by devil of fear.

10. Spirit of Pride - PROVERBS 16:18

Spirit of Pride manifest with mockery, stubbornness. Witchcraft is in the same line. Pride and witchcraft are relatives. Gossip, arrogance, self-righteousness, wrath. In wrath is the pride of man.

11. Spirit of Bondage - ROMANS 8:5

“We have no received the Spirit of Bondage, but Spirit of Adoption.”

When you cannot call on God - it is the very first symptom. You try but cannot pray to God. People who try to pray, but can`t break through because they are bound by Spirit of Bondage. They cannot call God Father. They cannot say Father in Jesus` Name. They have no feeling for fellowship. In the Bondage is found anguish, bitterness, all types of addiction to drugs, to cigarettes, to alcohol.

 12. Spirit of Antichrist - I JOHN 4:3

Controlling spirit is spirit of Antichrist. We are dealing here with this strong man. 

It is legalism, opposing the men of God, opposing teaching, opposing speaking in tongues, speaking against the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, substitutes everything, opposing and prosecuting saints, blasphemy against saints. It is controlling others Spirit

We always should deal with the Strongman and bind them in the Name of Jesus. In MATTHEW 12:29 Jesus said very clearly to religious Pharisees’:

“Or else how can one enter the strong man`s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.” 

PROPHETIC PRAYER CONFERENCE LINE EVERY FRIDAY

Speak to the ROCK…

“…and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink”.(Numbers 20 vs 8).

When it was time for God to give water to the Israelites, God told Moses to speak to the rock so that it may bring forth water.

The Word “SPEAK” as used in that Scripture is derived from the Hebrew Word “DABAR”. One of the meanings of “DABAR” is “TO ARRANGE”. So, what Moses was going to say had the capacity to arrange whatsoever that had gone out of order.

There was a scattered situation in front of Moses, and his declaration was meant to arrange it.

Friend, God says, your positive declarations will make Divine arrangements on your behalf. Your prophetic declarations will arrange the things that are scattered in your life. Your Words have the ability to create and arrange the future you desire.

Watch what you say! Speak life and not death! Bless and not curse! Let Positivity flow from your mouth and not negativity. Speak life to every circumstance around you that is scattered, be it your health condition, marital status, financial situation, career, business etc.

Remember, God said, “Speak ye unto the rock and before their eyes; it shall give water”. God himself guaranteed that the speaking of Moses will force the rock to give water: As you make positive confessions and declarations over your life, the heavens will hear your voice, and there shall be a response on earth.

Pray with me, “Lord, may my prophetic confessions make Divine arrangements that will yield results in Jesus name”

TAKE AWAY THE STONE

Take Ye Away The Stone

The foregoing command of Jesus is found in John 11:39. The occasion was the resurrection of Lazarus from his tomb. Lazarus had been dead four days. Jesus worked this great miracle to prove that he truly is the Son of God. I would like to borrow the expression, "Take ye away the stone" and apply it in a different, but appropriate, way. In New Testament times when a cave or carved out tomb was prepared for the dead, a large round wheel shaped stone was carved to cover the entrance. The wheel-like stone was often four or five feet in diameter. Obviously it would weigh several hundred pounds and require the combined strength of several men to move it. Hence, the great round stone sealed the opening of the tomb and separated the living from the dead. Stones Separating Men From God The Scriptures describe those who are not Christians as "the living dead." The word "death" means separation. And, so all who are not Christians are said to be spiritually dead since they are separated from God by their sins (Isa. 59:1-2). This separation from God could end if certain "stones" were rolled away. (1) In some cases the stone of ignorance needs to be rolled away. It is tragic that so many far and near, know so little about the Bible and Jesus. How sad for millions to live and die without ever understanding how Jesus died to extend to one and all the opportunity of salvation (John 3:16). (2) With others the great barrier to salvation is the stone of prejudice! Often mis-informed or un-informed people become offended or antagonistic toward the Church or religion in general. It is sad to realize that countless multitudes will spend eternity in a devil's hell because some stone of prejudice became a mental barrier that kept them from ever realizing the love that God has for them (Acts 2:38). (3) From time to time we find self-righteousness is the stone that needs to be taken away. The Bible teaches that salvation is by grace through faith. "It is the gift of God." However, the gift is not unconditional. Sinners must believe in Jesus, repent of their sins, confess that Jesus is the Messiah and be baptized for the remission of sins. Indeed it is sad when so many reject God's simple way and suppose they can work or buy or serve or suffer their way into heaven (Rom. 6-3-8). To lose one's soul is to lose all. To save one's soul is the ultimate victory. For the sake of your own eternal welfare, we implore you to roll aside anything and everything that stands between you and a proper relationship with the Almighty. Stones Affecting The Indifferent Jesus taught another lesson. He was about to call the dead back to life (which no man could do). But, mortals could roll aside the stone - and this they were commanded to do. Hence, we see the principle that God will do for man that which is beyond his power; but, man must do his part by responding to the grace of God. Man must do for himself all that he is,capable of doing. The principle can be applied today to church members who have grown cold and drifted back into the world. It is obvious that real or imagined barriers separate them from God. Anything standing between man and God should be removed at once. Some such "stones" that need to be rolled away are: (1) Anything that hinders a lack of spiritual growth and development. a. "Desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby" (1 Pet. 2:2). b. "Study to show theyself approved unto God" (2 Tim. 2:15). c. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness" (Matt. 5:6). The Bible says faith comes from hearing the word of God (Rom. 10:17). We suggest that one's faith can only be maintained and sustained by continued study. (2) Anything that hinders total commitment and genders indifference. a. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (Rom. 12:1). b. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord" (1 Cor. 15:58). (3) Anything that hinders church attendance and worship. a. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together" (Heb. 10:25). b. "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world . . . the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever" (1 John 2:15-17). Roll the stone away. Worship this Sunday with the church of Christ.
